Pearhead

For 365 days I explored my own death by photographing 3 pears in a bowl each day for a year. I pinned Polaroids of my ears, mouth and eyes to each pear and watched them deteriorate and fossilize. Except for the first day, I included a small card on the plate with the day number ( Day 2, Day 250 etc.). I took that plate with me everywhere, even on vacation and with friends.
